For the longest time, I didn't fully honor my creative spirit, because I thought creativity was a path reserved only for the talented few.
After committing myself to a creative practice, I discovered that creativity is a path to mindfulness, joy, and deeper self-connection for anyone. It's a way to reconnect with your inner wisdom and your intuition. Your soul speaks to you through tools such as painting. How cool!

I'd been dimming my spiritual, creative, and mystical aspects for too long. Playing small– not owning my full essence– which left me unfulfilled, with a nagging feeling that I wasn't truly living my purpose and potential.
Since claiming the goddess within (I took on her name), I am able to put more of myself out there–instead of holding back out of fear of judgment or abandonment. I am owning my spiritual self, intuition is flowing, and I'm clear about my purpose.

More about Lara
I began reawakening my own creative spirit only 3 years ago when some friends and I formed a group to work through The Artist's Way for a second time. The process inspired me to prioritize my own creative spirit. I knew it would be my mission to help women connect with their inner creative goddess~ through meditation and painting!
I am passionate about the divine feminine and the power of creativity to heal and transform. And, I believe there is a Creative Goddess inside every woman, waiting to be reclaimed.
As a Certified Professional Coach, Creatively Fit Coach, Certified Level 1 Sistership Circle Facilitator, and former therapist, I have decades of experience guiding women on transformative journeys of self-discovery. One of my current projects, The Rising Goddess Oracle Deck, features my series of inner goddess-inspired paintings, which I've been creating as a source of healing during my own journey through breast cancer.
I'm also a former martial arts instructor, social worker, counselor, and pet business owner, and I'm super proud of my two grown boys! I love living in Chicago with my hubby and two awesome animals ~ although the sacred landscapes of New Mexico have been calling to us!
